We are David and Christine Ratkaj. As our passion and love for all cats continues to grow, we established The Ratkaj Foundation For Cats on July 1, 2023. Our mission is to provide financial support to cats in need. This will include veterinary care, food and shelter. Upon completion of the necessary paperwork, we received confirmation of our tax-exempt status under 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code on September 14, 2023. As a 501 (c)(3) organization, The Ratkaj Foundation For Cats is eligible to receive tax deductible charitable contributions. In addition to our personal contributions to this effort, we have been fortunate to receive substantial contributions from The Hershey Company to pursue our mission. While our efforts are in the infancy stage, we look forward to building a foundation that truly makes a difference for cats in need of our help.
